✧ Washing the deceased

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ:
غُسِّلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي قَمِيصٍ، وَنَزَلَ فِي حُفْرَتِهِ عَلِيٌّ وَالْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَصَالِحُ بْنُ سَعْدَانَ مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ was washed in a shirt, and 'Ali, al-Fadl b. 'Abbas, and Salih b. Sa'dan, the client of the Prophet ﷺ, descended into his grave.
