✧ Washing the deceased

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَ:
إِذَا طَالَ ضَنَى الْمَيِّتِ غُسِّلِ بِالْأُشْنَانِ إِنْ شَاءُوا
Translation
✧ If the deceased's illness was prolonged, he may be washed with potash if they wish.
