✧ Closing the eyes of the deceased

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْهُذَيْلِ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ،
أَنَّهَا دُعِيَتْ إِلَى مَيِّتٍ يُنَازِعُ، فَقَالَتْ لَهَا أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ: إِذَا حَضَرْتِيهِ فَقُولِي: السَّلَامُ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Translation
✧ She was called to a deceased person who was in his death throes. Umm Salamah said to her: 'When you attend him, say: Peace be upon the messengers, and praise belongs to God, Lord of the worlds.'
