عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ:
أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حِينَ أَصْبَحَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مَعِي سُورَةٌ فَذَهَبْتُ لِأَقْرَأَهَا فَمَا أَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهَا، فَقَالَ لَهُ آخَرُ: وَأَنَا أَيْضًا كَانَتْ مَعِي فَمَا قَدَرْتُ عَلَيْهَا، قَالَ: مَا أَدْرِي أَرَجُلَانِ - أَمْ ثَلَاثَةٌ - فَدَخَلُوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا رُفِعَتْ فِي قُرْآنٍ رُفِعَ
Translation
✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ in the morning and said: "I had a sūrah with me, but I went to recite it and could not." Another man said to him: "I too had one with me, but I could not." He said: "I do not know if there were two men or three." They entered upon the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: "It has been raised, among a Qurʾān that was raised."
