عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ،
أَنَّ وَفْدًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِمَكَّةَ فَسَأَلُوهُ أَنْ يُخَلِّيَهُمْ لِحَاجَتِهِمْ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي فَاتَنِي اللَّيْلَةَ جُزْئِي مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Muḥammad b. ʿAbbād b. Jaʿfar informed me,
✧ A delegation came to the Prophet ﷺ in Makkah and asked him to leave them alone for their need. He said: "Last night I missed my portion of the Qurʾān."
