أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ:
أَدِيمُوا النَّظَرَ فِي الْمُصْحَفِ، فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي يَاءٍ وَتَاءٍ فَاجْعَلُوهَا ذَكِّرُونِيَ الْقُرْآنَ
Translation
✧ Keep looking at the muṣḥaf. If you disagree about a yāʾ or a tāʾ, make it: 'Remind me of the Qurʾān.'
