✧ Keeping watch over the Quran and forgetting it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: وَبَلَغَنِي عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
لَأَنْ تَخْتَلِفَ النَّيَازِكُ فِي صَدْرِي أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُسْقِطَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ شَيْئًا
Translation
✧ For shooting stars to strike my chest is dearer to me than to drop anything from the Qurʾān.
