عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قَالَ قَيْسٌ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ الْمَذْيَ أَكُنْتَ مَاسِحَهُ مَسْحًا ؟ قَالَ: لَا، الْمَذْيُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْبَوْلِ، يُغْسَلُ غَسْلًا، ثُمَّ أَنْشَأَ يُخْبِرُنَا حِينَئِذٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَائِشُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ أَخُو سَعْدِ بْنِ لَيْثٍ قَالَ: تَذَاكَرَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَعَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ وَالْمِقْدَادُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ الْمَذْيَ، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ: إِنِّي رَجُلٌ مَذَّاءٌ، فَاسْأَلُوا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَإِنِّي أَسْتَحْيِي أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ لِمَكَانِ ابْنَتِهِ مِنِّي، لَوْلَا مَكَانُ ابْنَتِهِ لَسَأَلْتُهُ، فَقَالَ عَائِشٌ: فَسَأَلَ أَحَدُ الرَّجُلَيْنِ عَمَّارٌ أَوِ الْمِقْدَادُ، قَالَ قَيْسٌ: فَسَمَّى لِي عَائِشٌ الَّذِي سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُمَا فَنَسِيتُهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: ذَلِكُمُ الْمَذْيُ، إِذَا وَجَدَهُ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ لِيَتَوَضَّأْ فَلْيُحْسِنْ وُضُوءَهُ، ثُمَّ لْيَنْتَضِحْ فِي فَرْجِهِ. قَالَ: فَسَأَلْتُ عَطَاءً عَنْ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ: يَغْسِلُ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ، قَالَ: حَيْثُ الْمَذْيُ يَغْسِلُ مِنْهُ أَمْ ذَكَرَهُ كُلَّهُ ؟ فَقَالَ: بَلْ حَيْثُ الْمَذْيُ مِنْهُ قَطُّ
Translation
✧ Qays said to Ata: What do you think about madhy; would you merely wipe it? He said: No, madhy is more severe than urine; it is washed thoroughly. Then he began to inform us at that time, saying: Aish b. Anas, the brother of Sa'd b. Layth, informed me: Ali b. Abi Talib, Ammar b. Yasir, and al-Miqdad b. al-Aswad discussed madhy. Ali said: I am a man who emits much madhy, so ask the Messenger of God ﷺ about that, for I am too shy to ask him about it because of his daughter being with me. Were it not for his daughter's position, I would ask him. Aish said: So one of the two men asked, Ammar or al-Miqdad. Qays said: Aish named for me the one of them who asked the Prophet ﷺ about that, but I forgot him. The Prophet ﷺ said: That is madhy. When one of you finds it, let him wash that part from himself, then perform wudu and do it well, then sprinkle his private part. He said: I asked Ata about the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: "He washes that from himself." He said: Where the madhy is; he washes from it, or his entire penis? He said: Rather, where the madhy is from it only.
