عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ كُنْتُ بِمِصْرٍ غَيْرِ مِصْرِي، فَكَانَ مِكْيَالُهُمْ أَكْبَرَ مِنْ مِكْيَالِي، فَأُؤَدِّي الْفِطْرَ بِهِ - أَوْ أُؤَدِّي - بِمِكْيَالِ مِصْرِي ؟ قَالَ: " مَا عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا ذَلِكَ، وَزِيَادَةُ الْخَيْرِ خَيْرٌ " قَالَ: كَمْ بَلَغَكَ بَيْنَ الْمِكْيَالِ الْيَوْمَ وَالْمِكْيَالِ الَّذِي كَانَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا أَدْرِي غَيْرَ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ الْمِكْيَالَ أَصْغَرُ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to 'Ata': What do you think if I were in a city other than my own, and their measuring vessel was larger than mine, should I pay the fitr with it – or should I pay – with the measuring vessel of my city? He said: 'You have no obligation except that, and increase in goodness is good.' He said: How much has it reached you between the measuring vessel today and the measuring vessel that was in the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ and Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman? He said: 'I do not know, except that that measuring vessel was smaller.'
