✧ The measures by which zakat is paid on the day of Fitr

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ،
أَنَّ مُدَّ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ثُلُثُ الْمُدِّ الَّذِي جَعَلَهُ مَرْوَانُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ. قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ: " عِنْدَنَا أَرْبَعَةُ أَرْطَالٍ وَنِصْفٌ
Translation
✧ That the mudd of the Prophet ﷺ was one third of the mudd that Marwan b. al-Hakam established. Ibn Jurayj said: Abu Bakr informed me, he said: 'With us it is four and a half ratls.'
