✧ The first one who gave the khutbah then prayed

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي
أَنَّ أَوَّلَ مَنْ خَطَبَ مُعَاوِيَةُ فِي الْعِيدِ أَوْ عُثْمَانُ فِي آخِرِ خِلَافَتِهِ
Translation
✧ The first one to give the khutbah was Mu'awiyah on the Eid, or Uthman at the end of his caliphate.
