✧ The first one who gave the khutbah then prayed

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ:
أَوَّلُ مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالْخُطْبَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ مُعَاوِيَةُ
Translation
✧ The first one to begin with the khutbah before the prayer was Mu'awiyah.
