✧ Prayer before the khutbah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَالَ:
شَهِدْتُ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ "، فَبَدَأَ بِالصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ بِلَا أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ
Translation
✧ I witnessed with Abu Bakr on an Eid day, and he began with the prayer before the khutbah, without adhan or iqamah.
