✧ Prayer before the khutbah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ،
أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ صَلَّى قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ثُمَّ رَكِبَ بُخَيْتًا لَهُ فَخَطَبَهُمْ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ دَفَعَهُ
Translation
✧ He attended al-Mughirah b. Shubah when he prayed before the sermon, then mounted a Bukhti camel of his and preached to them. When he finished, he urged it on.
