عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
اجْتَمَعَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَكَعْبٌ، فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: إِنَّ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ لَسَاعَةً لَا يُوَافِقُهَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ يَسْأَلُ اللهَ تَعَالَى فِيهَا خَيْرًا إِلَّا آتَاهُ إِيَّاهُ. فَقَالَ كَعْبٌ: أَلَا أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ ؟ فَقَالَ كَعْبٌ: " إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فَزِعَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ، وَالْبَرُّ وَالْبَحْرُ، وَالشَّجَرُ وَالثَّرَى، وَالْمَاءُ، وَالْخَلَائِقُ كُلُّهَا، إِلَّا ابْنَ آدَمَ وَالشَّيْطَانَ " قَالَ: " وَتَحُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بِأَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَيَكْتُبُونَ مَنْ جَاءَ الْأَوَّلَ فَالْأَوَّلَ، فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ طَوَوْا صُحُفَهُمْ، فَمَنْ جَاءَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ جَاءَ بِحَقِّ اللهِ، وَلِمَا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِ، وَحَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ رَجُلٍ حَالِمٍ يَغْتَسِلُ فِيهِ كَغُسْلِهِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، وَلَمْ تَطْلُعِ الشَّمْسُ وَلَمْ تَغْرُبْ مِنْ يَوْمٍ أَعْظَمَ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَالصَّدَقَةُ فِيهِ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ سَائِرِ الْأَيَّامِ ". قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: هَذَا حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَكَعْبٍ، وَأَرَى أَنَا إِنْ كَانَ لِأَهْلِهِ طِيبٌ أَنْ يَمَسَّ مِنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ
Translation
✧ Abu Hurayrah and Ka'b met. Abu Hurayrah said: In Friday there is an hour in which no Muslim man asks Allah, exalted be He, for good but that He grants it to him. Ka'b said: Shall I not narrate to you about Friday? Ka'b said: "When Friday comes, the heavens and the earth, the land and the sea, the trees and the moist earth, the water and all creatures are alarmed—except the son of Adam and Satan." He said: "The angels surround the doors of the mosque and write down those who come, first then next. When the imam comes out, they fold up their scrolls. Whoever comes after that comes for the right of Allah and for what is prescribed for him. It is obligatory upon every adult man to perform ghusl on it like his ghusl from janabah. The sun has not risen nor set on a day greater than Friday, and charity on it is greater than on other days." Ibn Abbas said: This is the hadith of Abu Hurayrah and Ka'b. I think that if a man's family has perfume, he should touch some of it on that day.
