✧ The greatness of the day of Friday

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَأْثُرُ حَدِيثًا عَنْ كَعْبٍ، أَوْ بَعْضَهُ:
مَا خَلَقَ اللهُ يَوْمًا أَعْظَمَ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ، فِيهِ قُضِيَ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، وَفِيهِ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ، وَمَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا فَزِعَ لِمَطْلَعِهَا الْبَرُّ، وَالْبَحْرُ، وَالْحِجَارَةُ، وَمَا خَلَقَ اللهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا الثَّقَلَيْنِ، وَإِنَّ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ لَسَاعَةً لَا يَسْأَلُ اللهَ الْعَبْدُ الْمُسْلِمُ فِيهَا شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ
Translation
✧ Allah did not create a day greater than Friday. On it the creation of the heavens and the earth was decreed, and on it the Hour will occur. The sun does not rise on Friday but that at its rising the land, the sea, the rocks, and everything Allah created are alarmed—except the two heavy ones (humans and jinn). And in Friday there is an hour in which a Muslim servant does not ask Allah for anything but that He gives it to him.
