عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَأْتِي وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ صَلَّى، أَيُصَلِّي ؟ فَقَالَ: " أَمَّا أَنَا فَكُنْتُ جَالِسًا
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Maʿmar, he said:
✧ I asked Qatādah about a man who arrives while the imam is giving the Friday sermon and he has not yet prayed: should he pray? He said: “As for me, I would rather be sitting.”
