✧ The Imam Speaking on the Pulpit on Friday About Other Than Remembrance

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ ابْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
لَمَّا قَتَلَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَتِيكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ وَأَصْحَابُهُ سَلَّامَ بْنَ أَبِي الْحُقَيْقِ الْأَعْوَرَ مِنْ يَهُودَ دَخَلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، فَلَمَّا رَآهُمْ قَالَ: " أَفْلَحَتِ الْوُجُوهُ
Translation
✧ When Abd Allah b. Atik al-Ansari and his companions killed Sallam b. Abi al-Huqayq al-A'war, one of the Jews, they entered the mosque while the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the sermon on Friday. When he saw them, he said: "May the faces prosper."
