✧ Fidgeting While the Imam Is Delivering the Sermon

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ صُوحَانَ قَالَ:
إِذَا أَتَيْتَ الْجُمُعَةَ فَأَنْصِتْ، وَلَا تَعْبَثْ بِالْحَصَى، وَإِنْ كَانَ رَجُلٌ مِنْكَ قَرِيبًا يَتَكَلَّمُ فَاغْمِزْهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ بَعِيدًا فَأَشِرْ إِلَيْهِ
Translation
✧ When you come to Friday prayer, be silent, do not fidget with pebbles, and if a man near you is speaking, nudge him, and if he is far away, gesture to him.
