✧ People Sitting When the Imam Comes Out

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
بَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ إِذْ قَالَ: " اجْلِسُوا " فَسَمِعَهُ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَجَلَسَ بِبَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ فِي جَوْفِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " تَعَالَ يَا عَبْدَ اللهِ
Translation
✧ While the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the sermon, he said, "Sit down." Ibn Mas'ud heard him and sat down at the door of the mosque, inside the mosque. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Come here, O 'Abd Allah."
