✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ Leaning on a Staff

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي جَابِرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ،
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَعْطَى عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أُنَيْسٍ السُّلَمِيَّ عَصًا، فَقَالَ: " خُذْ هَذِهِ فَتَخَصَّرْ بِهَا، وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْمُخْتَصِرَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَلِيلٌ " قَالَ: فَلَمَّا مَاتَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أُنَيْسٍ دُفِنَتْ تِلْكَ الْعَصَا مَعَهُ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ gave Abd Allah b. Unays al-Sulami a staff and said: "Take this and carry it as a walking stick. Know that those who carry such a staff on the Day of Resurrection will be few." He said: When Abd Allah b. Unays died, that staff was buried with him.
