✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ Leaning on a Staff

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي جَابِرٍ الْبَيَاضِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ
كَانَ " يَتَوَكَّأُ عَلَى عَصًا، وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذْ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ إِلَى الْجِذْعِ، فَلَمَّا صُنِعَ الْمِنْبَرُ قَامَ عَلَيْهِ، وَتَوَكَّأَ عَلَى الْعَصَا أَيْضًا
Translation
✧ He used to lean on a staff while delivering the Friday sermon, when he used to preach standing by the trunk. When the pulpit was made, he stood on it and leaned on the staff as well.
