✧ Those upon whom Jumu'ah is obligatory

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمُسَافِرِ يَمُرُّ بِقَرْيَةٍ فَيَنْزِلُ فِيهَا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ؟ قَالَ: " إِذَا سَمِعَ الْأَذَانَ فَلْيَشْهَدِ الْجُمُعَةَ
Translation
✧ I asked him about a traveler who passes by a village and stops there on Friday. He said: "If he hears the call to prayer, let him attend Jumu'ah."
