✧ Those upon whom Jumu'ah is obligatory

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ:
أَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ كَانَ يُؤَدِّي الْخَرَاجَ فَعَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَشْهَدَ الْجُمُعَةَ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَيْهِ خَرَاجٌ أَوْ شَغَلَهُ عَمَلُ سَيِّدِهِ فَلَا جُمُعَةَ عَلَيْهِ
Translation
✧ Any slave who pays the kharaj must attend Jumu'ah. If no kharaj is due from him or his master's work occupies him, then there is no Jumu'ah upon him.
