عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:
كَانَ نِسَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ يَتَّخِذْنَ أَرْجُلًا مِنْ خَشَبٍ، يَتَشَرَّفْنَ لِلرِّجَالِ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ، فَحَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ، وَسُلِّطَتْ عَلَيْهِنَّ الْحَيْضَةُ
Translation
✧ The women of the Children of Israel used to make wooden stilts to look over at the men in the mosques, so Allah forbade the mosques to them, and menstruation was imposed upon them.
