عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:
لَوْ رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا أَحْدَثَ النِّسَاءُ بَعْدَهُ لَمَنَعَهُنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ، كَمَا مُنِعَتْ نِسَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: " أَيْ هَنْتَاهُ، أَوَمُنِعَتْ نِسَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ؟ " قَالَتْ: " نَعَمْ
Translation
✧ Had the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seen what the women have introduced after him, he would have barred them from the mosques, just as the women of the Children of Israel were barred." He said: I said: "O you woman, were the women of the Children of Israel indeed barred?" She said: "Yes.
