عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ الرِّجَالُ وَالنِّسَاءُ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ يُصَلُّونَ جَمِيعًا، فَكَانَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ لَهَا الْخَلِيلُ تَلْبَسُ الْقَالَبَيْنِ تَطَوَّلُ بِهِمَا لِخَلِيلِهَا، فَأُلْقِيَ عَلَيْهِنَّ الْحَيْضُ، فَكَانَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ: أَخِّرُوهُنَّ حَيْثُ أَخَّرَهُنَّ اللهُ، فَقُلْنَا لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ: مَا الْقَالَبَيْنِ ؟ قَالَ: " رَفِيصَيْنِ مِنْ خَشَبٍ
Translation
✧ Among the Children of Israel, men and women used to pray together. A woman who had a close friend would wear two clogs to appear taller for her friend. Then menstruation was imposed upon them. Ibn Mas'ud used to say: Put them back where Allah put them. So we said to Abu Bakr: What are the two clogs? He said: "Two wooden lifts.
