عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبَانَ قَالَ:
سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ: هَلْ كُنَّ النِّسَاءُ يَشْهَدْنَ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ قَالَ: إِيهَا اللهِ، إِذًا فَلِمَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: خَيْرُ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ، وَشَرُّ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ الصَّفُّ الْمُقَدَّمُ، وَخَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ الصَّفُّ الْمُقَدَّمُ، وَشَرُّ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ الصَّفُّ الْمُؤَخَّرُ
Translation
✧ A man asked Anas b. Malik: Did women attend the prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said: Indeed, by Allah. Otherwise, why did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'The best rows of women are the last rows, and the worst rows of women are the first rows; and the best rows of men are the first rows, and the worst rows of men are the last rows'?
