عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ عَطَاءً، عَنِ الشَّعَرِ الَّذِي يُوصَلُ فِي الرَّأْسِ وَالْوَحَا فِي الشَّعَرِ الَّذِي يُجْعَلُ عَلَى الرَّأْسِ ؟ " فَإِنْ شَاءَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ وَضَعَتْ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا " قَالَ: أَمَّا الْوَصْلُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَعَنَ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ حِينَئِذٍ: وَآكِلَ الرِّبَا، وَمُوكِلَهُ وَالشَّاهِدَ، وَالْكَاتِبَ، وَالْوَاشِمَةَ، وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ، وَالْعَاضِهَةَ، وَالْمُسْتَعْضِهَةَ، قَالَ عَطَاءٌ: قَدْ سَمِعْنَا ذَلِكَ " قَالَ: وَكُنَّ نِسَاءُ الْعَرَبِ يَشِمْنَ أَيْدِيَهُنَّ قَالَ: " وَأَمَّا هَاتَيْنِ فَهُوَ شَيْءٌ أَحْدَثْتُمُوهُ، وَلَكِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَلْتَضَعْهُ الْمَرْأَةُ عِنْدَ الصَّلَاةِ "، قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ كُلَّ وَشْمٍ تَزِيدُ بِهِ الْمَرْأَةُ حُسْنًا ؟ قَالَ: " لَا خَيْرَ فِيهِ "، قُلْتُ: وَشْمُهَا شَفَتَيْهَا ثُمَّ تُسِفُّهَا إِثْمِدًا ؟ قَالَ: " لَا خَيْرَ فِيهِ
Translation
✧ I asked ʿAṭāʾ about the hair that is attached to the head and the padding placed in the hair on the head: “If the woman wishes, she may place it on her head.” He said: As for attachment, the Messenger of God ﷺ cursed the one who attaches and the one who has it attached. Anas then said: And the consumer of ribā, the one who gives it, the witness, the scribe, the tattooer, the one tattooed, the one who practices incantations, and the one who has incantations done. ʿAṭāʾ said: We have heard that. He said: Arab women used to tattoo their hands. He said: As for these two, it is something you have innovated, but it did not exist at the time of the Prophet ﷺ, so let the woman remove it at prayer. I said: Do you consider every tattoo by which a woman increases beauty? He said: There is no good in it. I said: Her tattooing her lips and then applying ithmid to them? He said: There is no good in it.
