عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
تُصَلِّي الْمَرْأَةُ فِي دِرْعِهَا وَخِمَارِهَا وَإِزَارِهَا، وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْجِلْبَابَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ "، قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ دِرْعُهَا وَخِمَارُهَا رَقِيقًا أَحَدُهُمَا ؟ قَالَ: فَالْجِلْبَابُ إِذًا عَلَى ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَجْلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ أَنَّهَا مَعَهَا، قُلْتُ: دِرْعُهَا إِلَى الرُّكْبَتَيْنِ قَالَ: لَا، حَتَّى يَكُونَ سَابِغًا كَثِيفًا، قَالَ: وَلْتَأْتَزِرِ الْإِزَارَ وَتَشُدَّ بِهِ عَلَى حِقْوَيْهَا
Translation
✧ "A woman prays in her dir', her khimar, and her izar, and making use of the jilbab is dearer to me." I said: "What do you think if her dir' and her khimar, one of them, is thin?" He said: "Then the jilbab in that case, because of the angels, that they are with her." I said: "Her dir' reaching to the knees?" He said: "No, not until it is ample and thick." He said: "And let her wrap the izar and tie it around her waist."
