عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ مُضَرَ قَدْ هَلَكَتْ، فَاسْتَسْقِ اللهَ لَهُمْ، أَوْ قَالَ ادْعُ لَهُمْ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ: اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا مَرِيئًا هَنِيئًا، مَرِيعًا، طَبَقًا، عَاجِلًا غَيْرَ رَائِثٍ، نَافِعًا غَيْرَ ضَارٍّ " قَالَ: فَمَا مَكَثُوا إِلَّا جُمُعَةً حَتَّى أَحْيَا النَّاسُ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Maʿmar, from al-Aʿmash
✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of God, Mudar has perished; seek rain from God for them, or he said: supplicate for them. The Prophet ﷺ then said: 'O God, give us rain, wholesome, pleasant, productive, covering, swift not slow, beneficial not harmful.' He said: They did not remain but a week before the people were revived.
