✧ Praying for rain

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْخَطْمِيِّ،
أَنَّ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، " خَرَجَ يَسْتَسْقِي بِالنَّاسِ، فَخَطَبَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ قَالَ: وَفِي النَّاسِ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ عَازِبٍ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ "
Translation
✧ Ibn al-Zubayr went out to seek rain with the people, and he delivered a sermon, then prayed without any adhan or iqama. He said: Among the people that day were al-Bara' b. Azib and Zayd b. Arqam.
