عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ، " يُحَدِّثُ
أَنَّهُ حَضَرَ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ إِذْ هُوَ عَامِلٌ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ اسْتَسْقَى عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ، ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى
Translation
✧ He attended Umar b. Abd al-Aziz when he was governor of Madinah: he sought rain from the pulpit, then descended and prayed.
