✧ The Duha prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الضُّحَى، فَقَالَ: كَانَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلُّونَ بِالْهَوَاجِرِ، أَوْ قَالَ: " بِالْهَجِيرِ، وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الضُّحَى قَطُّ إِلَّا يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ، وَإِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ
Translation
✧ I asked him about the Duha prayer, and he said: The companions of the Messenger of God ﷺ used to pray in the midday heat—or he said: "at the midday heat—and the Messenger of God ﷺ never prayed the Duha prayer at all except on the day of the conquest of Makkah and when he returned from a journey."
