✧ One Who Misses Part of the Night: When Does He Make It Up

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ:
كَانَ يُعْجِبُهُمُ الزِّيَادَةُ فِي الْعَمَلِ وَيَكْرَهُونَ النُّقْصَانَ، وَالْأَقْسَامَ دِيمَةً، وَإِذَا فَاتَهُمْ شَيْءٌ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ قَضَوْهُ بِالنَّهَارِ
Translation
✧ They liked increase in deeds and disliked deficiency, and they preferred regular portions, and if they missed something of the night they made it up during the day.
