✧ Obligation of Witr: Is Any Voluntary Prayer Obligatory

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبَانَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ:
ثَلَاثٌ هُنَّ عَلَيَّ فَرِيضَةٌ وَلَكُمْ تَطَوُّعٌ: الضَّحِيَّةُ، وَصَلَاةُ الضُّحَى، وَالْوِتْرُ
Translation
✧ Three things are obligatory upon me and voluntary for you: the sacrificial animal, the duha prayer, and witr.
