✧ May One Pray the Prescribed Prayer on an Animal Facing the Qibla or Otherwise, and How to Pray

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ نَزَلَ عَنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ وَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ, when he wanted to pray the prescribed prayer, dismounted from his mount and faced the qibla.
