✧ Fasting While Traveling

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ بْنِ يُونُسَ، وَأَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ،
أَنَّهُمْ خَرَجُوا إِلَى مَكَّةَ وَمَعَهُمُ الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، فَأَدْرَكَهُمْ هِلَالُ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَصَامُوا فِي الطَّرِيقِ قَالَ: " وَمَرَرْنَا بِبِئْرِ مَيْمُونٍ فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلُوا
Translation
✧ They set out for Makkah, and al-Aswad b. Yazid was with them. The crescent of the month of Ramadan appeared to them, so they fasted on the road. He said: "We passed by the well of Maymun, and he ordered them to perform ghusl."
