Translation
✧ I never saw Ibn Umar fast while traveling at all except one day. I saw him break his fast when evening came, and we said: Were you fasting? He said: Yes, I thought I would enter Makkah today, and I disliked that the people be fasting while I was not fasting, and that was in Ramadan.
