Translation
✧ Ibn 'Umar used to pray each prayer at its time while traveling, except for one prayer when he was informed of his wife's illness; he combined the sunset and night prayers. He was asked about it, and he said: 'This is how the Messenger of God ﷺ used to do: when travel urged him on, he would combine the sunset and night prayers.' In some of their hadiths: he delayed both of them together until a quarter of the night.
