✧ A man goes out at the time of prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ:
كُنَّا مَعَ مَسْرُوقٍ بِالسِّلْسِلَةِ سِنِينَ، وَهُوَ عَامِلٌ عَلَيْهَا، فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى انْصَرَفَ، وَيَلْتَمِسُ بِذَلِكَ السُّنَّةَ
Translation
✧ We were with Masruq at al-Silsila for years, and he was governor over it, and he led us in prayer two rak'ahs, two rak'ahs, until he departed, seeking thereby the Sunnah.
