عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ:
سَأَلْنَا عَلْقَمَةَ: كَيْفَ كَانَتْ قِرَاءَةُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بِاللَّيْلِ ؟ وَكَانَ يَبِيتُ عِنْدَهُ قَالَ: " كَانَ يُسْمِعُ آلَ عُتْبَةَ أَخِيهِ، وَهُمْ فِي حُجْرَةٍ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ
Translation
✧ We asked ʿAlqamah: How was ʿAbd Allāh’s recitation at night? He used to stay overnight with him. He said: “He would make the family of ʿUtbah, his brother, hear while they were in a room before him.”
