عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا ذَكَرُوا أَنَّهُ الْحَكَمُ الْغِفَارِيُّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَا طَاعُونُ، خُذْنِي اللَّيْلَ، قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: مَا سَمِعْتَ يَا أَبَا فُلَانٍ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ: ثُمَّ لَا يَدْعُو أَحَدُكُمْ بِالْمَوْتِ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي عَلَى أَيِّ شَيْءٍ هُوَ مِنْهُ قَالَ: بَلَى، وَلَكِنْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَذْكُرُ سِتًّا أَخْشَى أَنْ يُدْرِكَنِي بَعْضُهُنَّ قَالَ: " بَيْعُ الْحُكْمِ، وَإِضَاعَةُ الدَّمِ، وَإِمَارَةُ السُّفَهَاءِ، وَكَثْرَةُ الشُّرَطِ، وَقَطِيعَةُ الرَّحِمِ، وَنَاسٌ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْقُرْآنَ مَزَامِيرَ يَتَغَنَّوْنَ بِهِ
Translation
✧ He heard a man—they mentioned that he was al-Hakam al-Ghifari—saying: O plague, take me tonight. Abu Hurayrah said: Did you not hear, O Abu so-and-so, the Messenger of God ﷺ [say]: Then let none of you pray for death, for he does not know what state he will be in. He said: Yes, but I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ mention six things that I fear some of them will overtake me. He said: The selling of judgments, the wasting of blood, the rule of fools, the abundance of police, the severing of family ties, and people who take the Qur'an as reed-pipes, chanting with it.
