✧ When the prayer has been established, there is no prayer except the obligatory one

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ يَقُولُ:
إِذَا دَخَلْتَ فِي صَلَاةٍ فَلَا تُدْخِلْ مَعَهَا غَيْرَهَا يَقُولُ: " إِذَا كُنْتَ فِي الْمَكْتُوبَةِ فَلَا تَجْعَلْهَا فِي تَطَوُّعٍ، أَوْ فِي تَطَوُّعٍ فَلَا تَجْعَلْهَا فَرِيضَةً
Translation
✧ When you enter into a prayer, do not combine another with it. He said: "If you are in the prescribed prayer, do not turn it into a voluntary one, or if you are in a voluntary one, do not make it obligatory."
