Translation
✧ I was standing in prayer when I passed by a verse of prostration, so I fell down prostrating for that prostration. He said: “Join it with it.” I said: “Should I say the takbīr?” He said: “Yes.” I said: “Should I seek refuge?” He said: “Yes.” I said: “Is my seeking refuge for the voluntary prayer not enough?” He said: “It is, but I prefer that you seek refuge.”
