أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الصُّنَابِحِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ تَطْلُعُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيْ شَيْطَانٍ - أَوْ قَالَ: تَطْلُعُ مَعَهَا قَرْنُ شَيْطَانٍ - فَإِذَا ارْتَفَعَتْ فَارَقَهَا، فَإِذَا كَانَتْ فِي وَسَطِ السَّمَاءِ قَارَنَهَا، فَإِذَا دَلَكَتْ - أَوْ قَالَ: زَالَتْ - فَارَقَهَا، فَإِذَا دَنَتْ لِلْغُرُوبِ قَارَنَهَا، فَلَا تُصَلُّوا هَذِهِ الثَّلَاثَ سَاعَاتٍ
Translation
✧ Indeed, the sun rises between the two horns of a devil—or he said: a devil's horn rises with it—and when it is high, it leaves it; when it is in the middle of the sky, it accompanies it; when it declines—or he said: when it passes the zenith—it leaves it; and when it nears setting, it accompanies it. So do not pray in these three hours.
