✧ A man prays in his house then catches the congregation

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ،
سُئِلَ عَنِ الْمَغْرِبِ يُصَلِّيهَا الرَّجُلُ فِي بَيْتِهِ، ثُمَّ يَجِدُ النَّاسَ فِيهَا ؟ قَالَ: اشْفَعِ الَّذِي صَلَّيْتَ فِي بَيْتِكَ بِرَكْعَةٍ، ثُمَّ سَلِّمْ، وَالْحَقْ بِالنَّاسِ، وَاجْعَلِ الَّتِي هُمْ فِيهَا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ
Translation
✧ He was asked about Maghrib when a man prays it in his house and then finds the people [still] in it. He said: "Make the one you prayed in your house even with a rak'ah, then say the salam, join the people, and consider the one they are in as the obligatory one."
