✧ A person should not offer voluntary prayers where he prays the obligatory prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: قِيلَ لِطَاوُسٍ:
أَيَتَحَوَّلُ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا صَلَّى الْمَكْتُوبَةَ مِنْ مَكَانِهِ لِيَتَطَوَّعَ ؟ فَقَالَ طَاوُسٌ: تُعَلِّمُونَ اللهَ بِدِينِكُمْ
Translation
✧ Does a man move from his place after praying the obligatory prayer to offer voluntary prayers? Tawus said: 'Are you teaching Allah your religion?'
