عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ،
أَنَّ الْأَحْنَفَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ، كَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي فِي الْمَقْصُورَةِ، وَيَقُولُ: هِيَ حِمًى، وَكَانَ لَا يَنَامُ فِي السُّرَادِقِ، وَيَقُولُ: " لَمْ يُذْكَرِ السُّرَادِقُ إِلَّا لِأَهْلِ النَّارِ
Translation
✧ that al-Ahnaf b. Qays would not pray in the enclosure, and he would say, 'It is a protected area,' and he would not sleep in the pavilion, saying, 'The pavilion is only mentioned for the people of the Fire.'
