عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
بِتُّ لَيْلَةً عِنْدَ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ، فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مُتَطَوِّعًا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَقَامَ إِلَى الْقِرْبَةِ فَتَوَضَّأَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي، فَقُمْتُ لَمَّا رَأَيْتُهُ صَنَعَ ذَلِكَ، فَتَوَضَّأْتُ مِنَ الْقِرْبَةِ، ثُمَّ قُمْتُ إِلَى الشِّقِّ الْأَيْسَرِ، فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ، فَعَدَّلَنِي كَذَلِكَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ ظَهْرِهِ إِلَى الشِّقِّ الْأَيْمَنِ "، قُلْتُ: أَفِي التَّطَوُّعِ كَانَ ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ
Translation
✧ I spent the night at my maternal aunt Maymunah's, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up to pray voluntarily during the night. He went to the water-skin and performed ablution, then he stood to pray. When I saw him do that, I got up and performed ablution from the water-skin, then I stood on his left side. He took hold of my hand from behind his back and positioned me thus from behind his back to his right side.' I said: 'Was that in voluntary prayer?' He said: 'Yes.'
